High-Risk Vehicle Policy

Elegant Auto Studio values transparency and careful workmanship. Some vehicles may carry higher risk during installation, removal, cleaning, preparation, or inspection due to age, condition, prior repairs, repainting, or hidden defects.

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

Certain vehicles or services may carry higher risk during vinyl wrap, paint protection film, window tint, ceramic coating, removal work, surface preparation, or electronics-related installation due to:

Repainted surfaces.
Aged, weak, damaged, or oxidized paint.
Previous bodywork or repairs.
Weak clear coat or failing clear coat.
Rust, chips, dents, scratches, or hidden damage.
Aftermarket parts, trim, emblems, spoilers, sensors, or accessories.
Older glass, damaged glass, or prior tint installation.
Existing adhesive, decals, vinyl, Paint Protection Film (PPF), ceramic coating, or contamination.
Electronics-related services such as backup camera, dash cam, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, stereo, or wiring installation.

2. Possible Risks

Customer understands that services may result in:

Paint lifting.
Peeling, chipping, cracking, or flaking paint.
Clear coat damage.
Adhesion issues.
Surface damage.
Trim, emblem, badge, or molding damage.
Film edge movement, lifting, or reduced adhesion on compromised surfaces.
Existing damage becoming more visible after installation or removal.

3. Tint Removal Risk

Customer acknowledges that window tint removal may carry additional risk, including:

Glass cracking, scratching, or damage.
Rear defroster line damage.
Antenna line damage.
Electrical, sensor, or heating element issues.
Adhesive residue or old film contamination.
Higher risk on older, damaged, aftermarket, or previously tinted glass.

4. Repainted or Non-Factory Surfaces

Repainted, repaired, non-factory, weak, or compromised surfaces may not react the same as original factory paint. Vinyl wrap, PPF, tint, adhesive, tape, masking, cleaning, polishing, ceramic coating preparation, or removal may lift, damage, or expose weak paint or hidden defects.

Elegant Auto Studio is not responsible for paint lifting, clear coat failure, peeling, chipping, discoloration, or damage caused by weak, repainted, damaged, repaired, or non-factory surfaces.

5. No Liability for Pre-Existing Conditions

Elegant Auto Studio is not responsible for damage related to:
Pre-existing paint, glass, trim, or body defects.
Repainted or repaired surfaces.
Weak clear coat, failing paint, oxidation, rust, or corrosion.
Hidden damage discovered during service.
Glass, electrical, antenna, defroster, sensor, or heating-element issues during tint removal.
Damage caused by removal of vinyl wrap, PPF, tint, adhesive, decals, emblems, badges, tape, or coatings.

6. Electronics / Wiring Risk

Customer understands that electronics installation may involve vehicle wiring, panels, trim removal, radio/screen access, modules, adapters, cameras, dash cams, and electrical connections. Some vehicles may have prior wiring repairs, aftermarket equipment, weak clips, brittle trim, electrical issues, software limitations, factory system limitations, or hidden problems.

Elegant Auto Studio is not responsible for pre-existing electrical issues, factory system limitations, broken clips due to age or brittleness, customer-supplied defective parts, incompatible equipment, software limitations, blown fuses caused by vehicle issues, or problems caused by previous installations or third-party equipment.

7. Partner Service Disclaimer

Upholstery work is performed by a trusted neighboring upholstery partner. Any risks, inspection, material selection, warranty, and workmanship related to upholstery are handled directly by the upholstery provider.

8. Customer Acceptance

By proceeding with service, customer acknowledges the risks above and accepts responsibility for pre-existing, hidden, weak, repaired, repainted, aged, or compromised vehicle conditions. Customer agrees that Elegant Auto Studio is not responsible for damage related to these conditions, to the extent permitted by law.
