Warranty Policy

Elegant Auto Studio provides limited warranty coverage for eligible installation and material issues related to services performed by our shop, including vinyl wrap, window tint, paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating, and backup camera/electronics installation.

1. Labor Warranty

Elegant Auto Studio may provide limited labor warranty coverage for installation-related defects. Labor warranty coverage may be valid for up to 1 year, depending on the service performed and the issue being reviewed.

Labor warranty may cover:

Peeling caused by installation error.
Adhesion issues not caused by vehicle condition, customer damage, improper care, or environmental exposure.
Installation-related defects approved by our shop after inspection.

2. Material Warranty

Material warranty may be provided by the manufacturer, such as 3M, XPEL, SunTek, Avery Dennison, KPMF, HEXIS, or other applicable brands.

Material warranty duration and coverage vary by product, brand, film type, and manufacturer terms. Manufacturer warranty approval is not guaranteed by Elegant Auto Studio.

3. What Is Covered

Warranty may cover eligible issues such as:

Peeling due to confirmed installation error.
Adhesion issues not caused by environment or vehicle condition.
Material defects covered by manufacturer warranty terms.
Installation-related issues approved after inspection by Elegant Auto Studio.

4. What Is Not Covered

Warranty does not cover:

Rock chips or road debris damage.
Scratches, dents, accidents, vandalism, or misuse.
Environmental damage from sun, chemicals, sap, bird droppings, hard water, pollution, or weather.
Improper washing, harsh chemicals, pressure washing, or poor maintenance.
Normal wear and tear, fading, staining, discoloration, or aging over time.
Pre-existing paint damage, hidden defects, rust, oxidation, clear coat failure, or body damage.
Repainted, repaired, weak, damaged, or compromised surfaces.
Customer-approved color, shade, finish, film, coverage, or design choices.
Damage caused by removal of vinyl wrap, PPF, tint, adhesive, decals, or coatings.
Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or third-party work.
Product defects, software updates, vehicle electrical issues, factory system limitations, customer-supplied parts, incompatible equipment, or problems caused by third-party electronics.
Partner-performed services, including upholstery work performed by a neighboring or third-party provider.

5. Curing & Settling Period

Vinyl wrap, paint protection film, window tint, and ceramic coating may require curing, settling, or inspection periods. Small bubbles, haze, moisture pockets, edge movement, adhesive marks, or minor imperfections may appear during the curing period and may improve over time. These are not automatically considered warranty defects.

6. Backup Camera & Electronics Warranty

Elegant Auto Studio may provide limited installation warranty for backup camera, rear view camera, dash cam, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, stereo, and car electronics installation work performed by our shop.
Warranty coverage may include installation-related issues such as loose connections, wiring connection issues, or installation defects confirmed by Elegant Auto Studio after inspection.
Warranty does not cover product defects, customer-supplied parts, software updates, vehicle electrical issues, factory system limitations, water damage, misuse, accidents, electrical shorts, blown fuses caused by vehicle issues, third-party modifications, or problems caused by incompatible or defective equipment.

Customer-supplied parts are not covered under product warranty by Elegant Auto Studio. Additional labor, replacement parts, adapters, modules, or troubleshooting may be required and may involve additional charges.

7. Upholstery Partner Warranty
Auto upholstery work is performed by our trusted neighboring upholstery partner. Upholstery warranty, workmanship, materials, repair coverage, and service terms are handled directly by the upholstery provider. Elegant Auto Studio may help connect customers with the partner but does not perform or warranty upholstery work.

8. Important Notes

Minor imperfections within industry standards are normal and may not qualify for warranty repair. Slight fading, wear, texture variation, or finish changes over time may occur. Warranty repairs must be inspected, reviewed, and approved by Elegant Auto Studio before any repair work is performed.

9. Claim Process

To request a warranty review:

Contact Elegant Auto Studio as soon as possible.
Provide service details, photos if available, and a description of the issue.
Bring the vehicle to our shop for inspection if requested.
Allow Elegant Auto Studio the opportunity to inspect and correct any valid warranty concern.
Warranty concerns must be reported within a reasonable time after the issue is noticed. Delayed reporting may affect warranty eligibility.

Unauthorized repairs, removal, third-party work, or failure to follow care instructions may void warranty coverage.
